The School of English for Specific Purposes (SESP), Beijing Foreign Studies University is hiring full-time ESL/EFL teachers (native English speakers preferred) to teach undergraduate/graduate students who do not major in English.

Anticipated Start Date:September 1, 2017

Position End Date:January 15 or July 15, 2018

Duties:

The SESP invites applications to teach the following courses: English Writing, Public Speaking, and content-based courses such as History of English Language, Western Political Thoughts, International Business, Chinese and Western Rhetoric, and Western Civilization with Chinese Comparisons.

Teaching Load: 12-14 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Native speaker

• Graduate degree or above in such disciplines as business, intercultural communications, English literature, and second language acquisition

• Post-secondary teaching experience of over two years
